The Baltimore Ravens needed to add speed to their offense after losing Torrey Smith this offseason. In order to do that, they selected UCF receiver Breshad Perriman and his insane speed to fill the void.
Torrey Smith failed to reach the expectations of being the team’s number one receiver, expectations that are no being bestowed upon Perriman. Luckily for the young UCF product, he will be mentored by the great Steve Smith for at least 2015. Perriman will give Joe Flacco an incredibly dangerous weapon to stretch the field, and Lord knows Flacco has the arm to do such that.
With Melvin Gordon and Shane Ray off the board, Perriman was the logical and safe choice for the Ravens.
