The Kansas City Royals have been unstoppable as they have shredded their way through the playoffs and into the World Series – becoming the first team ever to win eight games in a row to start the postseason. While Ned Yost‘s team has been mighty impressive, their attention now turns towards the San Francisco Giants and overcoming their one last obstacle.
Their play on the field has been impressive and even inspirational, making for one of the most memorable playoffs runs of all time. That success has led to the creation of some simply astounding shirts on their behalf. From Nike to local printing stores, these designs are worth a look.
The ALCS MVP, Lorenzo Cain, has become well-known this postseason for his high-flying antics. Including a few game-saving plays, Cain has become one of the true favorites on this Royals team.
Worthy of Sean Connery
A brilliant take on the classic Tom Clancy film starring Sean Connery, The Hunt for Red October, this beauty is one of that is sure to fly off the shelves in no time.
While a few of these Nike designs are classic takes on the usual championship attire, the “Fast and Filthy” shirt is just fantastic. Not only is it sporting the sick baby blue, but the tagline pretty much perfectly describes this Kansas City team. Plus, it’s provocative enough to be a best-seller.
Richard Sherman Who?
While the Legion of Boom went on to lead the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl title, the Legion of Zoom is looking to bring a championship back to Kansas City.
First baseman Eric Hosmer has quickly established himself as a fan-favorite in Kansas City. If that wasn’t evident before, this personalized Nike shirt is even more proof.
It is simple but still incredibly poignant.
The Simple T
Sure this shirt is simplistic, but it does recall an old-school design that makes for one heck of a cool shirt. The design is almost reminiscent of something you would see in 1985, making the retro look even more appropriate for the current team.
Let’s be honest, shirt designs don’t come much more factual than this one.
The Best on the Market
This is just perfect – easily one of the best shirts on the market for Royals fans.
So what say you, fans? Which of the shirts you have seen so far have been your favorite playoff attire for the Royals?
