Fact or Fiction: Which Athletes May Retire?

Around the world of professional sports, there are well-known athletes who are recognizable around the world. Many of those athletes have been playing for years at a high level. Yet as any past athlete can tell you, there comes a time when you simply must walk away from the sport you love.

Some of those recognizable names are reaching that age – an age where they must seriously consider retiring. For some, the age is catching up to them, for others their skill-level has decreased over time. Whatever the reasoning may be, we have compiled a list of 20 athletes who could possibly leave their respective sports within the next year.

Our latest FACT/FICTION column takes a look at each sport and the players who might leave the game for good by the end of 2015. Let’s begin.
