With the offensive needs of the Houston Texans, it was rather surprising that they chose to go after cornerback Kevin Johnson. However, once you get past that thought, you quickly realize how strong of a pick this is for the Texans.
In a division that features Andrew Luck‘s insane arm, the Texans need to ensure they can stop that passing attack at least twice per year. The addition of Johnson will do just that. The heir-apparent to cornerback Jonathan Joseph, Johnson will have one of the best teachers in the game to learn from.
While it was a bit surprising, it was nonetheless a solid pick for the Texans.
