KC: Marcus Peters Quick Recap

So, Andy Reid needs to find a way to score touchdowns in the passing game. Sure, they signed Jeremy Maclin, but they still needed to bolster that core. Instead, the Kansas City Chiefs opted to select cornerback Marcus Peters.

Despite being an incredible talent, Peters is best known for being kicked off of the Washington University team due to discipline issues. The selection for the Chiefs is a bit of a head-scratcher, especially considering their needs on the offensive side of the football.

However, considering they are playing in a division that features Peyton ManningPhilip Rivers and Derek Carr, it can’t hurt to ensure you are covered defending against those passing attacks.
