New NFL Uniforms for Thursday Night Football?

Are you bored of seeing the same uniforms game after game in the NFL? Well, lucky for you the league is apparently looking into the topic:

Graziano has since gone on to say that the proposal is expected to be passed in league meetings and that Nike would design all of the uniforms with input from each team.

This addition, if it does indeed pass, will be a great decision by the league. Not only will it bring excitement to each Thursday night game, but it will also drive up sales as fans will flock to stores in order to buy the new uniforms. Assuming the finished products will be like other new Nike NFL designs – radical – than the NFL will have a new topic of discussion that will be driving conversations about the league (other than league character issues).

Now the waiting game begins, what exactly will the new designs look like? Many fans around the world have given a stab at their designs, and some are fantastic ideas floating around out there. It will be interesting to see if the NFL and the teams allow Nike to go out and do their think as they have in college football.
