WAS: Brandon Scherff Quick Recap

LOVE this pick for the Washington Redskins. While many wonder if the tenure of Robert Griffin III is coming to an end soon in D.C., the Redskins opted to do what they absolutely had to do – grab a guy to keep the quarterback healthy.

The new Washington guard will provide some much needed protection to whomever is under center for Jay Gruden‘s offense. While it might not be the sexiest pick in franchise history, it was an incredibly solid one – and very unlike Dan Synder (and that is a very good thing).

Redskins fans were just happy to have a first round pick for the first time since Vietnam, so you can now be even more happy with the fact that you grabbed a sensational player for a position of need.

Instant Grade: A-
